Virtual Reality Laboratory of Ean University

We have made an alliance with the EAN University of Bogotá for the installation of its first virtual reality laboratory that consists of an area of 100m2. It is an interactive immersive room that will allow innovation, development and positive impact in the area of entrepreneurship and employment in Colombia.

The project initially aimed at EAN students, but projected to benefit the general public in the future, seeks to become a benchmark for academic and social innovation where students specialize and are trained in entrepreneurship techniques and models through virtual reality.

My main objective within EAN has been to consolidate sustainable entrepreneurship. With the immersive and interactive VIROO room, we enter a world of exploration and innovation that we have always wanted, achieving our own innovation laboratory that we are sure will be a tool of high impact and social contribution in Colombia.

For us it is important to bring our pillars, the eanista entrepreneurs, who want to start new businesses and want to use technology and innovation as a basis for the digital transformation of the new companies of the future. And likewise sustainability, companies can approach us and tell us about their problems, for example, how to virtualize a prototype and thus save on material costs for those first prototypes.

The impact that this laboratory has for the Ean university has multiple implication factors. Firstly, in the academy (…) students will be able to learn in a differential way, in a real way in a virtual world, and entrepreneurs will be able to model their companies in this space. For government, we believe that we can contribute from the academic world to solutions, to real problems that exist today in society.
