First Multi-User Immersive Classroom for Schools in Colombia
As part of its educational innovation strategy and seeking to position itself as an institution at the forefront of technology, the Louis-Pasteur French Lyceum in Bogotá implemented this immersive space where modern learning dynamics will have a place in the multi-user virtual world, where teachers and students will be able to move naturally, collaborate and share virtual spaces.
The alliance between Virtual4 and the Lyceum is a clear example of the vision of Maxime Prieto, the institution’s rector, who seeks to encourage students to take accelerated steps on their path to excellence. The joint actions of this agreement within the framework of Immersive Technologies will not only open a new pedagogical horizon, but will also make the Lyceum an international benchmark in the educational sector in the incorporation of this type of technology into training processes.
The Multi-User Immersive Classroom will mark a milestone for the school, allowing both students and teachers to have access to the content and technology necessary to complement and facilitate the learning of the various subjects of primary and secondary school, through a multifunctional collaborative environment with different possibilities for exploration, being able to walk, collaborate and learn in a totally different virtual environment.
