Within the framework of the UniMetaTech innovation headquarters, which seeks to be a space where technological and innovation competencies are enhanced, contributing to the development of the region, Virtual4 implements a new TechLab of immersive technologies under the VIROO platform.
This agreement defines a framework of reference and cooperation for coordinated actions between both parties that allow UNIMETA to enhance competitiveness in immersive technologies, promote employment and entrepreneurship around said infrastructures and progressively incorporate this technology in training processes, promoting innovation. educational in UniMetaTech spaces.
Virtual4, a company based in Spain, Colombia and Mexico, installed an Immersive Technologies Laboratory of almost 100 square meters at UNIMETA’s innovation headquarters, UniMetaTech in the city of Villavicencio, under the VIROO platform, which allows several users to interact simultaneously within the same physical space. and virtual space and with absolute precision and freedom of movement, facilitating the creation of content and its deployment in remote and multi-user environments.
The VIROO room, located within the UniMetaTech space, will serve UNIMETA students and teachers as support in advanced research and exploration in scientific and technical fields (R+D+I), allowing them to access specialized training and professional simulations to develop practices of skills through collaborative work.
UniMetaTech is presented as UNIMETA’s innovation headquarters, dedicated to excellence in technological training. Its goal is to provide a quality educational experience that prepares students for the challenges of the modern world.
It has an e-learning platform that offers short courses specialized in programming, technology, marketing and innovation. These courses are designed to provide students with up-to-date practical skills in key areas of the business and technology world.
